Springfield.community President Erica Rachel Andrews Receives 2026 Commonwealth Pride Award
Erica Rachel Andrews, Co-Founder and President of Springfield Massachusetts Tech 501(c)(3) nonprofit Springfield.community, was nominated for and received a 2026 Commonwealth Pride Award. She was nominated by State Representative Bud L. Williams, 11th Hampden District and was presented the award by Cynthia Lewis, Committee Director for the Joint Committee on Racial Equity, Civil Rights, and Inclusion.
Springfield teens build gaming PCs in free workshop
Via WWLP: SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Local teenagers are spending their February vacation building functional gaming computers from scratch through a free workshop in Springfield. The “Build Your Own Gaming PC” class provides students with hands-on experience in science, technology, engineering, and math.

Ensuring that all young people have access to the tools they need to succeed, this initiative/partnership offers Springfield’s Youth critical technology support. “It’s simple. Kids need computers.
